Our staff is dedicated to providing our residents with the highest quality of life possible. Our homes are staffed by well-trained individuals who simply want to enhance the lives of our residents. Continuing education is given to each employee on an on-going basis as new and innovative ways are developed to maintain the highest standard of care for our residents.
Rosetta’s Caregivers are trained on dementia and memory loss disorders. Caregivers are required to attend on-going training on specific topics pertaining to resident care. A majority of our Caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants and have additional certifications such as first aid and CPR. Our training program is designed to help the caregiver understand life from the residents’ perspective.
Here are examples of some on-going training classes
- Recognizing the Signs of a Stroke
- Behavior and Anxiety Management
- Wandering and Exit Seeking
- Safe Lifting Practices
- Massage Therapy
Rosetta’s management staff has many years of experience in caring for the elderly with memory disorders. Some of our managers have Nursing and Psychology experience, while others have been Paramedics or served in the Army. All of our management team bring their own unique skills and talents to our homes and are dedicated to the care and well being of our residents.
Home Administrators and Regional Managers have the opportunity each year to increase their knowledge in the Geriatrics field by attending annual state conferences and regional in-service training to keep them informed of any state regulation changes.
